I want to make linen underwear.

With this in mind, we started planning the project, but the final underwear only had a linen content of 30%.
But there's a reason why we didn't use 100% linen.

It is difficult to knit stretchy jersey suitable for underwear using 100% linen.
You can fully feel the texture of linen and also the softness of Supima cotton.
The fabric is made of an exquisitely balanced blend of 70% cotton and 30% linen, giving it a stable texture.

The fabric is knitted on a circular underwear forming machine, which is said to have been the machine that made all underwear in the past.
However, there are now only a few of these machines left in Japan.
In order to mass-produce efficiently, high-speed machines that can handle anything from underwear to outerwear have become mainstream.

Old machines operate slowly. Because they do so slowly, they can knit thin threads without breaking, resulting in a thin, delicate fabric.
It also achieves a fluffy texture without putting any stress on the fabric.
